I rarely watch TV news because it's become a visualization of the supermarket tabloid magazines. I have no interest in the purported killer of JonBenet and I agree with Julius that he probably didn't do it. TV news has to compete with cable, websites & blogosphere, so any little tidbit of info is news: the fact that Karr traveled in business class was "news". Having champagne with his dinner was "news". No wonder so many people get their info from websites & blogs. And some of even read newspapers! Nice to see you back, Ponzi! I don't know if they specifically cover this story, but it can be damned interesting. Me, I'm up in arms because NPR Morning Edition let one of the border Militia people state that it's a health hazard that illegal immigrants work in food service industry, since they (paraphrasing him) come from 3rd world countries and haven't even had vaccinations and don't have good hygiene. The interviewer didn't challenge any of his assertions. Yeah, the media sux.
