Do you believe in destiny?

kar·ma (kär’mÉ™)
n.
1. Hinduism & Buddhism The total effect of a person’s actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person’s existence, regarded as determining the person’s destiny.
2. Fate; destiny.

I do, and- I believe what I put out to the world will come back to me. Trying to live in a positive light is sometimes difficult in a world of people with different thoughts and perspectives than our own. We are all faulted and we are all beautiful just usually not at the same time. Today lets you and I try to see the beauty in something we usually see as ugly.

I saw a cartoon and it said “Today I will be as happy as a bird with a french fry!” Cheers to that! I hope you have a beautiful bird with a french fry kind of day.

Ponzi,
Thank you for posting the definition of Karma, and using your quote below;

I definitely believe in a form of destiny and karma. That said, I do believe sometimes it requires some sort of action. One of my favorite quotes comes from my favorite Sci-Fi movie, Terminator 2: “The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.”

I love Terminator, I have a secret desire to be as tough as the female lead. I dream that if “all hell broke loose” I too would be able to provide and fend for those I love. Unfortunately, I do not have the arms of said female heroine (ahem) so, no promises. Love the quote!

Wow, just wow. He is amazing!

My beautiful Amanda… always the ever vigilant one for zen refinement. :)
